What is the Environment & Social Justice Commission of India?
- The Environment & Social Justice Commission of India (ESJC) works on clean air, water, forests and flood safety. In 2026-27 the main focus is Punjab, with fair treatment for every community. The national office is in Chandigarh.
Who leads ESJC?
- Ritik Arora is National President of the Environment & Social Justice Commission of India. He leads the Commission’s national work and the 2026-27 Punjab plan.
Where is the ESJC office?
- The national office is at Adarshmall, Plot No. 50, Industrial & Business Park, Phase-II, Chandigarh 160002. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm.
What is the 2026-27 Punjab plan?
- The Punjab Chapter, announced in August 2026, covers clean air, groundwater, rainwater harvesting, flood readiness, tree plantation and community participation. The plan includes a pledge to plant one lakh trees and a statewide volunteer and expert network.

What is the Yuva Green Summit?
- Yuva Green Summit is ESJC’s youth platform for Punjab: Gen Z for a cleaner tomorrow. Students, NGOs and volunteers register online, through campus NSS, NCC or Eco Clubs, partner NGOs, or on-ground desks. Volunteers can receive an official certificate of participation.
