Two-day Go Green Drive begins at Sun City Colony, Mandi Gobindgarh

A two-day Go Green Drive for environment protection and greenery began with a plantation and awareness programme at Sun City Colony in Mandi Gobindgarh.

Environment & Social Justice Commission Chairman Ritik Arora administered an environment protection oath and formally opened the drive with colony chairman Balwinder Walia and president Rajiv Salodia.

Arora said the campaign on 22 and 23 August is meant not only to plant trees but to save them, grow them and build a sense of responsibility in society.
