Swarnbhoomi Times reported that the Go Green Drive reached Ludhiana on Saturday under Environment & Social Justice Commission Chairman Ritik Arora.
About 3,000 plants were targeted for the city, including plantation at Guru Nanak Stadium. Para-badminton athletes Shabana and Ashwini Kumar planted saplings with badminton player R.K. Arora.
Arora appealed for more plantation and regular care, and asked capable residents to also support talented badminton players in need.
