Go Green Drive reaches Ludhiana; Ritik Arora plants saplings

The Go Green Drive reached Ludhiana after starting in Mandi Gobindgarh. Environment & Social Justice Commission Chairman Ritik Arora led plantation at Guru Nanak Stadium.

A target of about 3,000 saplings was set for Ludhiana. International para-badminton players Shabana and Ashwini Kumar joined the plantation, along with badminton player R.K. Arora.

Arora said climate change is a serious challenge. He asked schools, colleges and residents to plant more trees and care for them regularly. The drive was also set to continue in other cities.
